Tim McNally

Miss Liz began her dance training at the age of 3. Her love of dance took her to numerous studios and the College of Dupage, studying various styles and techniques; her passion for dance has only increased throughout the years. At Thomas Edison State University, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in marketing. She has worked for multiple production companies as a dancer/performer in the Chicagoland area. For the last 8 years, Elizabeth has been working as a professional model/actor with different agencies in Chicago. Elizabeth has taught at numerous studios and choreographed for their competition teams; during that time her choreography has won Platinum, Performance, 1st overall, and Choreography awards. Prior to opening Elysian Studios she choreographed for and led an international dance team & performed across America as well as in numerous countries. Owning a dance studio has been her lifelong dream & she is so excited to pour all her experience & energy into Elysian Studios!

Tim McNally has worked for Elysian Studios since it opened; he teaches Tap, Acting, and Musical Theatre. He has danced for more than 15 years and his experience includes traveling & performing internationally as well as teaching dance to children and adults all over the world. Tim holds a Masters degree and is currently finishing a Ph.D. in Education. He teaches 5th grade in Ottawa, IL at Marquette Academy and loves spending his evenings teaching dance!

Miss Jess has been dancing since the age of 3. Although she picked a different career path, she has always kept dance as a special part of her life. Ms. Jess is a speech-language pathologist at a private clinic in Forest Park. She now lives in Chicago, but enjoys taking trips to Ottawa to teach dance as well as visit her parents. During undergrad and grad school at Illinois State University, Ms. Jess enjoyed being part of the Redline Express Dance team and performing at football and basketball games. Once she graduated, she went back to teaching a variety of styles at multiple studios. She has also choreographed and performed for charity events around LaSalle County. Ms. Jess has enjoyed her time exploring the big city and loves to take drop-in classes from different studios and instructors. She's grateful for the opportunities to continue to grow as a dancer and bring the knowledge back to her students.
